Is Carbo Plex a fast acting or slow release carbohdrate formula?

Carbo-Plex is a flavourless, pure carbohydrate support formula . Carbo-Plex is made up of Maltrin® M100, a high quality Maltodextrin manufactured by Grain Processing Corporation USA. Maltodextrins are complex carbohydrates, also known as glucose polymers, derived from corn starch. They are very slow release and contain limited simple sugars. They are commonly found in quality weight gain formulas and meal replacements where a slow maintained release of energy is required over time.
